Northwoods Lodge, Silver Salmon Fishing

Silver or Coho salmon are famous for tackle-smashing strikes and aerial antics. Silver salmon begin to make their way up the glacier fed Susitna & Yentna Rivers in search of their clear water spawning beds in late July and early August. These fish are still dime bright and will remain that way for a month or more.
