Better give this family a wide berth! Although commonly appearing very docile, moose (and especially those with calves) should be given plenty of room. Make a wide detour around any moose that you encounter (100 feet or more). You want them to remain relaxed for you and that next trail user just a couple minutes away from encountering the same four-legged family.
