Kincaid Park, Northern Yarrow

Aromatic Northern Yarrow bends to gather the northwest-setting summer sun. Long hours of low-angle sunlight along the easily-accessed Anchorage Coastal Trail provide numerous opportunities for the nature photographer. Unlike the Lower 48 mid-latitudes where summer twilight lasts an hour at most, northern latitude twilight in Alaska can linger up to four hours.
